    - Blake DeWitt had a two-hit game on Saturday in the Dominican Republic after starting off his winter ball campaign with one hit in 15 at-bats.

    - Javy Guerra pitched a scoreless inning, walking two in the Arizona Fall League’s Rising Stars Showcase on Saturday.

    - Double-A Chattanooga athletic trainer Yosuke Nakajima also represented the organization at the Rising Stars game. Apparently, his nickname is “possum.”
