Josh Lindblom promoted to AAA
Dodgers notes - minor league edition:
- Pitching prospect Josh Lindblom has been promoted to Triple-A Albuquerque after impressing in major league camp this spring and going 3-5 wiht a 4.71 ERA at Double-A Chattanooga. Hector Luna was placed on the DL with knee inflammation in Albuquerque, and Lindblom was replaced in Chattanooga by pitcher Javy Guerra, who was promoted from Inland Empire.
-Outfielder Trayvon Robinson might be having a breakout season at Inland Empire, but two days after playing the California League All-Star game, he was taken out of a game by manager Carlos Subero when he didn’t run out a ground ball.
- Chattanooga outfielder Tommy Giles has a commercial pilot’s license and offered to fly himself and possibly other teammates to games rather than endure long bus rides. The Dodgers denied the request.
