Mike Piazza, Los Angeles Angel?
Mike Piazza has signed a minor-league contract with the Angels and been sent to Orem. The 22-year-old undrafted free agent pitcher out of Florida Tech, made his professional debut earlier this week.
Piazza is the son of Michael Piazza. He’s also the second cousin of that other Mike Piazza, who didn’t fare much better in the 1988 draft as a 62nd rounder.
