Off to ESPN.com

I’m happy to announce that on Monday, I’ll start my new job covering college basketball for ESPN.com. I’ll mainly be writing about the West Coast hoops scene at the new College Basketball Nation Blog.

I want to say thanks to everyone who took the time to read Diamond Notes for giving a down-on-his-luck ball writer a reason to stay in the game. What began in March as an outlet to forget my troubles turned into a way to rediscover my passion.

This isn’t goodbye. I believe I’m going to be able to microblog at Diamond Notes during my down time, especially during baseball’s regular season. So feel free not to unfollow me on Tumblr and Twitter.
