The Inland Empire 66ers are planning to hold their Manny Ramirez Bobblehead Night five days before the Dodgers will, a 66ers spokesman told Diamond Notes today.

The 66ers, the Dodgers’ Class A affiliate in San Bernardino, are scheduled to give away the same exact bobblehead (different sponsor) on July 17 when they play the rival Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.

So if you don’t want put yourself through a Dodgers-Reds game on a Wednesday night July 22 just to satisfy your craving for ceramic dreadlocks, head on over to the Inland Empire (or Albuquerque on Aug. 27, or eBay). Maybe Manny will be there too rehabbing his hammy.

At Arrowhead Credit Union Park, tickets are only $6-$10, and because it’s Friday, you can get a lawn seat for $2. Even better, Fridays you can scarf down 50¢ hot dogs and quesadillas and pound $2 beers and sodas.
